- Salary: $4948.02 - $5714.38 weekly
- Anticipated duration of assignment: 25 weeks

Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Physician Assistant:
- Provide healthcare services to patients by following established standards, procedures and practices.
- Obtain detailed history and perform physical or psychological examinations.
- Perform or order X-rays, electrocardiograms, laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures, and interprets results.
- Administer such therapeutic procedures as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care.
- Provide physicians with assistance during surgery or medical procedures.
- Instruct patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens, home care and health maintenance.
- Evaluate outcomes of direct patient care and consult with other specialists as required.
- Maintain required records and write progress notes on patient charts as to status, treatments and procedures.
- Provide preventative health care services to long-term patients and arrange consultations and referrals.
Qualifications for the Physician Assistant:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Science.
- Physician Assistant Certificate of Registration or Certification eligible and Certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
- 2 or more years of Physician Assistant experience.
- Current certifications: (ACLS, PALS).
