Physician Assistant

St. Joseph Healthcare, a member of Covenant Health, is seeking a Per Diem Advanced Practice Provider for its Emergency Department @ St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bangor, Maine.

•  Variable weekly schedule comprised of 8, 10- or 12-hour daytime shifts, as needed in a per diem capacity  
• Single Physician coverage with 5 hours of overlap & double PA coverage during peak hours
• Preferred candidates will have completed an EM fellowship and possess a minimum of 1-year clinical experience
•  PA’s with 3+ years full-time clinical experience will be considered; NP applicants must be highly qualified and have previous ED & trauma experience   
• Patient-centered model with emphasis on spending quality time with patients
