Physician Assistant

We are seeking a PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT to join our team! You will provide healthcare services, under the supervision of a physician.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
• Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients
• Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance
• Develop and implement patient management plans
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Obtain detailed medical history and perform comprehensive physical examinations on patients (children and adults) presenting with urgent/emergent medical conditions.
• Must be proficient in a wide array of medical procedures including laceration repair, X-ray interpretation, fracture stabilization, IV placement, foreign body removal, Incision and Drainage and wound care.

Qualifications:

NCCPA Certified

• Active New Jersey License and DEA
• Current ACLS, BCLS, Infection control certificate
• Prior Urgent Care/ER Experience Required (at least 1 year of experience)
• Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Positive patient-first attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
