Candidates with prior experience in neurology or other relevant specialties as well as recent graduates will be considered for this position, and the team is very willing to train a local candidate who is passionate about neurology and wants to specialize in this field of medicine. Responsibilities:
- Full-time permanent position - Neurology
- Opportunity for all outpatient, all inpatient, or a mix of both
- Flexible hours can be negotiated
- Work with multiple specialty care teams
- Conditions treated include: back and neck pain, headaches and migraines, epilepsy, dementia, dizziness and balance problems, concussion, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular disorders, Parkinson's Disease, pinched nerves, seizures, stroke, vertigo
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Physician Assistant or nurse practitioner, specifically in neurology
- Previous healthcare experience in neurology or other relevant specialties
- Clinical rotations in neurology or relevant specialties
- Active New Jersey PA or NP license
- Ability to establish rapport with patients and families
- Excellent interpersonal skills
