Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions
- Clean and maintain therapy equipment and supplies
- Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
- Minimal Familiarity with medical terminology related to Physical Therapy
- Excellent patient care skills, including the ability to provide assistance and support to patients during therapy sessions
- Experience in acute care settings, such as hospitals, is preferred but not required
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals
