Pay: Starting at $90,00 for PT’s (pay increases with experience)

SIGN-ON BONUS and TUITION REIMBURSEMENT AVAILABLE!

Shifts: Varies by location, can be discussed with recruiter

Responsibilities:

Independently implements and manages therapeutic programs according to an established treatment plan under the guidance and supervision of physical therapist.  Documents all care and services provided according to acceptable statutes and requirements.  Performs tasks in compliance with the professional code of ethics, standards of practice, state/national regulations, and departmental policies/procedures. 

Interprets physical therapist plan of care and determines appropriate procedures.

Makes recommendations concerning standardized treatments or intervention based on treatment progress.

Provide education to the patient about the proposed intervention, its material risks and expected benefits and any reasonable alternatives.

Assess patient response to treatment/ intervention and makes recommendations on changes in treatment as required.

Documents patient care at time of visit to ensure accurate record of intervention and provide important details to justify medical necessity.

Participates in a multidisciplinary team to assist in developing intervention strategies to meet the client's needs.

Provide educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics and ways to promote healing and wellness.

Must Haves (Physical Therapist):

·         PT license in Alaska (typically 60-90 days to complete)

·         New grads welcome!

·         Must be able to relocate to Alaska within 90 days of accepting offer
