We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Physical therapist to join our outpatient practice in Port St. Lucie, FL. Ideally, we are seeking a Physical Therapist who has 1-3 years’ experience working in an outpatient facility and has a manual therapy-based background or has worked with orthopedic based patients. The therapist will be primarily doing PT Evals and Re-Evals as well as overseeing the PTA's treatment. The Physical Therapist will also be documenting care, entering appropriate charges and diagnosis codes as well as completing plans of care and checking documentation before it is sent out.

Duties:
- Patient Consultation-review health and medical histories, exam patients, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and reason for visit
- Consult with referring Physicians/Healthcare team regarding diagnosis as needed
- Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs
- Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques to include exercise instruction, modern modalities, and activities of daily living- McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment Manual Techniques for Joint work: Maitland, Mulligan, McKenzie, Soft Tissue Work: IASTM, Graston, Astym, Sastym, ART (Active Release Technique), Strain-Counter Strain / Positional Release
- Patient education on the benefits of PT, treatment plan maintenance, and home exercises
- Documentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, Record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit
- Supervise and lead PTA’s
- Collaboration with the other PTs and multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
- Communicate effectively with both the staff and patients
- Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude
Requirements:
- Graduation from an Accredited Physical Therapy Program
- PT License in FL
- Previous experience with Medicare and Personal Injury is a plus.
- 1-3 years’ experience working in an outpatient facility preferred
Schedule:
- FT or PT
- Mon-Wed-Fri 8:15 am until 7:15 pm
Compensation:
- $78k-$104k per year (DOE)
