Form of workWe are looking for a Part-Time / Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a position in Home Health Care. The Physical Therapist Assistant can start of with PRN (about 5 visits a week) hours and increase their hours up to 20 hours a week if desired! The pay is generous for this Physical Therapy Assistant position. This Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position is in the Home Health setting doing homecare visits with adult and geriatric patients. Both experienced Physical Therapist Assistants and new grad Physical Therapist Assistants are welcome. This Physical Therapy Assistant position is with a homecare company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. HOME HEALTH CARE PTA JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Physical Therapist Assistant must have an Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy. The Physical Therapist Assistant must have a license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state. The Physical Therapist Assistant MUST either be a US Citizen or have your green card-- no exceptions. Experience is not necessary and new grads welcome! We will accept Physical Therapy Assistants with experience (even if clinical/intern experience) in any of the following settings: SNF, Skilled Nursing Facility, inpatient rehab, health and rehab center, Visiting Nurse Association, Visiting Nurse Services, VNS, VNA, Home Health, Homecare, Home Care, Home Healthcare, Home Therapist, Home Visits, rehab center, healthcare center, rehabilitation center, out patient / outpatient, inpatient, assisted living facility, ALF, adult daycare center, hospital, medical center.

3. This is not shift work, but is seeing multiple patients in their homes or senior living facilities. You will be driving from patient home to patient home & most patients will be close together but sometimes you may have to drive 40-60 miles to reach a patient's home, therefore; about half your day will be spent driving. Traveling is part of your pay plus you will get additional pay for mileage, but I want to make sure that you are fine with traveling as that is an integral part of Home Health?
