Form of workYou will serve as a Physical Security Specialist in the Force Protection division of NAVBASE VENTURA COUNTY SEC.Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing threat assessments for personnel and assets which have anti-terrorism responsibilities; 2) Updating plans, manuals, and instructions to provide recommendations regarding changes to security specifications; 3) Conducting inspections of mission essential vulnerable assets, arms, ammunition, and explosive storage facilities and critical infrastructure; 4) Conducting classroom, formal, and informal training on crime prevention and PHYSICAL SECURITY awareness programs; 5) Serving as a Loss Prevention Technical Specialist/ Security Advisor for the installation during meetings.
