Job Title: We have an Immediate Opening for an Physical Education School Teacher for Elementary School
Location: On-Site. Multiple Locations Available in NV, AZ
Hours: 20 hours / week
Commute: This position requires commute (paid hour and reimbursable).
Responsibilities: You'll provide PE instruction at the professional level using a variety of skills and teaching techniques, according to the instructional levels Kindergarten through Eight grade. The age of students ranges from 5-13 years.
- Develop and implement a student activities program that aligns with assessed student and program needs. This program should facilitate the growth of leadership skills and offer opportunities for active student participation, serving as an integral component of the overall educational curriculum.
- Develop annual instructional outlines and corresponding daily lesson plans encompassing relevant study units.
- Instruct students through the careful selection, development, adaptation, and implementation of suitable instructional approaches and techniques, making effective use of available educational resources to facilitate academic achievement.
- Continuously assess the academic progress of both individuals and groups
- Maintain classroom discipline and independently manage behavioral issues, intervening only in cases of chronic or severe misconduct.
- Oversee assigned students during scheduled hours or ensure their supervision throughout the academic day and related activities, prioritizing the safety, health, and welfare of students in accordance with school, Agency, and Area Guidelines.
Qualifications:
- PHYSICAL EDUCATION OR TEACHER LICENSE/CERTIFICATION (FROM ANY 50 US STATE)
- Either of the following:
- (1) Teaching License with P.E. Endorsement from any US State,
- OR (2) Certificate of completion in a P.E. education program along with some teaching experience for children
- OR (2) minimum two years prior experience in Physical Education instruction or related field to children
- Valid Driver License
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field -OR- State certification in P.E.
- Working knowledge of processes, policies, and practices for safety, health, and welfare of the students.
- Possess or be Be able to obtain and maintain State Teacher Certification for Physical Education and endorsement for Elementary
- Legal to Work in the United States and be able to
- Pass fingerprinting, background check, and screening.
