Job Summary:

As a Middle School Teacher at Aurum Preparatory Academy, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our students. Your responsibilities include

• Delivering high-quality instruction,
• Fostering a love for learning and
• Supporting students' social and emotional development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a dynamic and age-appropriate Physical Education curriculum.
• Plan and conduct engaging Physical Education classes for middle school students.
• Assess and evaluate students' physical abilities, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive social interactions among students.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into Physical Education lessons.
• Create a safe and inclusive environment that accommodates diverse learning needs.
• Organize and supervise extracurricular physical activities, such as sports teams or fitness clubs.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate Physical Education concepts into interdisciplinary projects.
• Monitor and record students' progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and program activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid teaching credential with a focus on Physical Education.
• Proven experience in teaching middle school Physical Education.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate Physical Education curriculum development.
• Strong commitment to promoting health and wellness among students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Technologically proficient with a willingness to incorporate technology into teaching.

Compensation & Benefits:

We offer a compensation package including a competitive salary commensurate with experience, health benefits, retirement contributions, dedicated coaching, and professional development stipends.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
