Job Summary: Crew Trainers are responsible for organizing and implementing training plans designed by the Training Manager. The training coordinator's role is focused specifically on executing specific stages of the FPG training plans and ISO documents. This includes but is not limited to: Identifying new hires strengths and weaknesses, completion of new employees 30-day Training Plan, and managing day to day execution of teaching new hires how to successfully complete their job.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead New Hire Orientation on site
- Lead tours of Facilities while communicating current objectives and goals specific to positions
Administer questionnaires, and gather feedback following the first two weeks of new hire's employment
- Facilitate organization of new hire trial period requirements
- Measure and Communicate outcomes from trainings to report to Training Manager
- Implement and Manage follow-up evaluations at key employment intervals
- Support and Communicate Safety throughout the project
- Research and Recommend improvements to the training cycle, by department.
- Successfully mastering processes required by each position to complete tasks
- Assessing needs of training and communicating these with Training Manager
- Identifying different types of teaching methods based on how an individual learns tasks. This includes selecting appropriate training methods or activities (ex. Simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, how to guides, etc.)
- Assist Training Manager in implementing educational and instructional material pertaining to each job function by FPG and ISO guidelines
- Deliver Training Courses
- Maintain an updated database on new hire and training curriculum
- Manage training areas and all equipment used for job functions

- Periodically evaluate ongoing training programs to ensure they reflect proper training and changes.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Valid Driver License
- Ability to present information to a variety of audiences
- Proficiency in MS Office and in database software
- Ability to master the entire training cycle
- Preferred experience as a training coordinator, trainer, training supervisor, or similar role
- Excellent Communication and presentation skills
- Ability to stay organized and track the training cycle process
- Previous facility maintenance or janitorial experience is a plus
- The ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds and the ability to climb stairs as needed are required.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or general education degree required (GED). Previous related experience or training preferred, but not required. Education in Human Resources, general business practices, or relative technical trade work a plus.
