Position Title: Phone Support Technician - Lifts/Vehicle Seating
This position can be filled Remote or if local, Winamac office.

Job Summary:
Lift/Seating Support Tier 1 is the first point of contact for BraunAbility dealers requiring technical assistance for BraunAbility products. The nature of our vehicles requires speedy resolution for meeting the needs of our customers. The position is both unique and satisfying as you will be assisting with a BraunAbility product that customers regain their mobility, freedom and independence by applying your technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide knowledge and diagnostic assistance to service departments at BraunAbility dealerships
· Provide correct part numbers to repair our products
· Occasional field repair support
· Collaborate closely with team members, other dept group individuals to gather information and report quality concerns
· Provide internal support to Tier 2
· Contribute to knowledge article recommendations, part number portal enhancements
Required Qualifications:
· High school diploma/GED
· A minimum of 4 years of work experience to include a minimum of 2 years of direct work experience that includes DC electric, hydraulic & mechanical systems or 2 years of automotive service experience or 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing facility.
· A combination of education and/or experience equal to 4 years will also be considered
· Must be willing to complete BSO (Braun Service Onboarding), BSS (Braun Service Specialist), and BSM (Braun Service Master’s) after hire.
· Understanding of electrical and hydraulic theory
· Strong computer skills and navigation which includes typing
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to research and gather information
· Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
· Trade School / Certification
· ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification
· Training & Instructional experience
· Product/ Industry knowledge related to wheelchair systems and transportation
· Familiarity with the WAV dealer channel and specific needs of service personnel
· Bi-lingual (Spanish preferred)
