Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Representative to join our team in the vibrant world of the balloon industry. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining client relationships, and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve utilizing your sales expertise, creative flair, and excellent phone communication skills to promote our range of balloon products and services.
Responsibilities:
Inbound Call Handling:
- Respond promptly to incoming calls, emails, and inquiries from potential customers.
- Listen attentively to customer inquiries, address their questions or concerns, and provide information about products or services.
- Guide callers through the sales process, offering tailored solutions and recommendations based on their needs.
Outbound Sales Activities:
- Make outbound calls to prospects to introduce products or services, generate interest, and schedule follow-up appointments.
- Use persuasive communication techniques to overcome objections, build rapport, and move prospects through the sales pipeline.
- Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns or referrals to nurture relationships and convert leads into customers.
Negotiation and Closing:
- Skillfully negotiate pricing, package options, and delivery timelines with clients, ensuring profitability while meeting their budget constraints.
- Address any objections or concerns raised by clients with empathy and creativity, offering alternative solutions or compromises to secure their business.
Product Knowledge and Sales Presentations:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our balloon decor offerings, including balloon arches, centerpieces, bouquets, and themed installations.
- Create visually engaging presentations or mood boards to illustrate different balloon decor concepts and themes tailored to specific events or occasions. Knowledge of Canva is a plus.
- Collaborate with clients to customize balloon designs, colors, and arrangements that align with their event themes and branding requirements.
Relationship Building and Account Management:
- Foster strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service, attention to detail, and timely communication throughout the planning and execution stages.
- Anticipate client needs and preferences, proactively suggesting additional balloon decor elements or enhancements to enhance their event experiences.
- Maintain regular contact with past clients to solicit feedback, secure repeat business, and generate referrals for future balloon decor projects.
Other Responsibilities:
- Support the general manager with ad-hoc tasks or projects related to balloon inventory, marketing, such as conducting market research, analyzing competitor activities, or coordinating promotional activities.
- Participate in marketing events, trade shows, or community outreach initiatives to increase brand visibility and generate leads for balloon decor projects.
Requirements:
- Full/ Part Time Position - Saturday 8am-4:30pm Shift Required
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in a phone-based sales role, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a persuasive and engaging phone manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Creativity and flair for innovative sales approaches, with the ability to think outside the box to drive sales growth.
- Passion for the balloon industry and enthusiasm for promoting balloon products and services.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Dropbox, Notion and CRM software, with the ability to maintain accurate sales records and reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a creative field, such as event planning, design, or entertainment, with an understanding of the role balloons play in these industries.
- Knowledge of balloon products, trends, and techniques, with a passion for staying updated on the latest innovations in the balloon industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
