St. Luke's Health System in Meridian is seeking
a Perpetual Inventory Pharmacy Techto join our Pharmacy Purchasing team.

The Perpetual Inventory Technician works closely with the Pharmacy Central Buying team. These technicians are responsible for taking care of patient medication needs, while concurrently maintaining the proper inventory levels needed in the pharmacy.
Daily, you will receive the drug order from our drug wholesaler, unpack the medications and supplies, verify the correct amount were delivery, and scan all items into Epic Inventory. Troubleshooting inventory problems and finding resolutions will also be a large part of this job.
Good communication, organization skills and being a team player are essential characteristics to make this position successful.
Hours for this position are Monday through Friday with variable shifts that may alternate (7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
Responsibilities
+ Review purchase orders for contract compliance/pricing optimization and execute orders through wholesaler/distributor and direct channels to ensure timely delivery and shipment
+ Assist with completing required procurement forms of distributors and manufacturers, coordinating approval with leadership
+ Review contracts for adherence with purchasing requirements as applicable
+ Establish and maintain positive internal and external customer relationships, ensuring policies and procedures are followed
+ Assist with the management of backorders and discontinued products, leading meetings as appropriate
+ Verify and process invoices and resolve discrepancies received from Accounts Payable and all vendors
+ Distribute pharmaceuticals and medical devices to proper clinic locations under proper storage conditions
+ Prepare necessary documentation to initiate processing the invoices and inter-departmental transfers when required
+ Facilitate recalls and monitor critical recall alerts
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Idaho Pharmacy Technician License required
+ Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
+ Pharmacy technician with buyer experience preferrred
+ Three + years' experience preferred
