SalaryWe have a Pharmacy Manager position available within an independent community pharmacy in the Stamford area. The ideal candidate will be someone who can support the delivery of excellent patient care to a diverse patient population. Candidates must have an active Pharmacist license in the state of Connecticut.
The Primary Function of the manager is:
Responsible for the overall daily operation of the pharmacy department including but not limited to operational and clinical services. Such services include, but not limited to purchasing, preparation and distribution of drugs; clinical oversight and interaction with medical staff; and appropriate /timely submission/reconciliation of drug claims.
Skills preferred but not required include:
Previous PioneerRx software experience
Experience with 340B Drug Pricing Program
Expertise in infectious disease
Knowledge of prior authorization process and resolving various insurance rejections
