Pharmacist

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring their safe and effective use, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret prescription orders to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with regulations
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide counseling to patients on the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and drug interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive medication therapy plans
- Monitor patient responses to medication therapy and make appropriate interventions or recommendations
- Conduct medication utilization reviews to identify opportunities for improvement in patient care
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards of practice
- Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacy practice and incorporate evidence-based medicine into daily practice

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy program
- Active pharmacist license in the state of California
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and medication management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Job Types: Part-time, Temp-to-hire, Per diem

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
