The Petroleum Lab Supervisor is responsible for performing and supervising quality testing, working safely, and meeting agreed upon ridged client specified production time schedules.

The Lab Supervisor reports directly to the Assistant Lab Manger and supports the Caleb Brett business line by directly supervising all lab personnel within the lab facility. We are looking for a laboratory supervisor to oversee the routine analysis, testing and other handling of samples, insuring the accurate and timely collection and reporting of information to clients.

HERE'S SOME EXAMPLES OF WHAT YOU WILL DO ON THE JOB

• Organize and prioritize laboratory work within the department
• Communicate, monitor, and enforce lab safety
• Assist in, or conduct, investigations into lab discrepancies, and resolve the problem with the coordinator or client
• Maintain communication with management or client, regrading status of samples
• Monitor Shipping , Receiving, and Sample Retention
• Assist in training of new lab personnel

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Education or equivalent is preferred but not required
• BS in Chemistry of applicable science is preferred but not required
• 3- 5 Years of practical Petroleum Laboratory experience
• Supervisory experience preferred
• GC experience is a plus
• ICPMS experience is a plus
• ICP, IC and CIC experience a plus
