Exciting Opportunity at Terradyne Engineering's Carrollton Branch! We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Geo Lab Tech Supervisor to join our team. What you'll Do:

• Communicating test status and results to Department Manager and/or Branch Manager
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Adhering to deadlines
• Ability to be flexible during peak times.
• Promoting a safe work environment and maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Assisting with AASHTO proficiency testing as required
• General lab duties including keeping the lab and equipment clean and organized
• Great attention to detail is required

Qualifications:

• At least one (1) year of laboratory experience
• SB101 certification preferred but not required
• Delegate duties when appropriate and ensure understanding of assigned duties.
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures
• Ability to effectively communicate
• Understand importance of QC in the laboratory
• Computer skills - Word, Excel
• Good math aptitude

The Geo Lab runs tests on soil samples, such as:
- Moisture content tests
- Atterberg tests
- Unconfined tests
- Minus 200 tests
- Swell tests
- Hand penetrometer
- Soil identification and classification
