The Service Manager’s role is to provide consistent, timely and accurate service to the Risk Management Account Managers and Sales Consultants. The Service Manager processes paperwork and documentation for TrueNorth clients on a day to day basis.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Process the following items in a timely and accurate manner, including but not limited to: renewal materials, quote comparisons, endorsement requests, rewrites, cancellations, certificates, binders, auto ID cards and other duties associated with servicing clients
- Support quoting for new business
- Prepare new policies for delivery
- Meet new and renewal or project deadlines
- Handle invoicing for agency billed policies
- Maintain electronic files accurately and consistently
- Organize time in advance so all work and projects are completed on time and with appropriate content and organization
- Work with the finance department on account discrepancies and in researching payments
Education, Experience, and Skills
- High School diploma or GED required, college level business courses preferred
- Prior administrative/clerical work experience in the insurance industry is preferred
- P&C Insurance licenses required, or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment; must maintain annually
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and able to quickly learn and utilize other computer applications
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
