Job Summary:
We are looking for a customer-oriented Service Representative. Insurance license preferred but not required. A Customer Service Representative, or CSR, will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. The best CSRs are genuinely excited to help customers. They're patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. They love to talk. Customer Service Representatives can put themselves in their customers' shoes and advocate for them when necessary. Customer feedback is priceless, and these CSRs can gather that for you. Problem-solving comes naturally to customer care specialists. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don't have enough information to resolve customer complaints. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Front Desk position - greet all walk-in clients Process insurance payments
- Answer phone and direct calls Open and sort incoming mail
- Process all personal line mail - cancellations, new business, renewals, etc.
- Create and complete follow-ups - make phone calls for payment reminders Remarket any renewals that increase 10% or more
- Process customer requests - add & delete autos, drivers, address changes, etc.
- Maintain all files for personal line policies
- Quote and sell Personal Lines insurance as needed for house accounts, remarkets, and walk ins when no agent is available
- Responsible for checking outgoing mail for postage and getting to mailbox

Requirements:
- Obtain Property & Casualty insurance license within 4 months of hire
- Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or the recognized equivalent
- Personal lines insurance experience preferred
