Senior Personal Injury Trial Attorney (Georgia)

Council & Associates, LLC is seeking a Senior-Level Personal Injury Trial Attorney who can hit the ground running to provide our clients with outstanding representation. Our ideal candidate must be licensed to practice law in Georgia andhave significant experience litigating various Personal Injury cases at the federal and state level. This prospective attorney must also have demonstrated experience drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. We are looking for a candidate that will be excited to join a growth focused firm in downtown Atlanta.

Salary is commensurate with experience, including a generous bonus structure. The position also includes a firm matching 401k plan, and employer sponsored health, vision, and dental insurance.

Expert proficiency in taking and defending depositions is required, as is substantial trial experience.

• Develop case strategies and provide direction to litigation paralegals and legal assistants
• Prepare and respond to motions, briefs, and other various litigation pleadings
• Conduct depositions of commercial drivers, medical experts, corporate representatives, and other various case experts
• Preparation for and attendance of mediation and/or arbitration on behalf of clients
• Represent clients during mediation, arbitration, and/or trial
• Conduct client meetings

• Substantive experience litigating cases in both federal and state courts 
• Proficiency in writing and responding to motions and various litigation pleadings
• High-level proficiency in handling all aspects of discovery
• Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated trucking litigation experience
• Candidate must be licensed to practice law in Georgia
• Candidate must be comfortable with frequent client contact
• Expert proficiency in mediating Personal Injury cases
• Expert proficiency in trying Personal Injury cases
