Responsibilities:

• Maintain updated status documentation of all case files in the case management system
• Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation
• Settle on the clients' behalf when appropriate and negotiate reasonable agreements
• Supervise and delegate tasks to the team of legal assistants, Personal Injury paralegals, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary
• Perform research on case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case

Qualifications:

• Up-to-date knowledge of Personal Injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative
• Bachelor's degree and a J.D. degree is required
• Must be computer proficient
• Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred
• 3 years of experience in Personal Injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, Personal Injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas is needed
