The Law Offices of Blake Fulton Quackenbush are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Personal InjuryPARALEGAL to join our legal team in downtown ANCHORAGE, ALASKA.
As an integral member of our organization, you will provide essential support to our attorneys and contribute to the efficient functioning of our legal department. The ideal candidate will have substantial knowledge of legal procedures, outstanding organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail. You will be responsible for performing various legal tasks, managing documents, conducting legal research, and assisting with case management. PAY / BENEFITS
· $52,000.00 - $79,040.00 per year (depending on experience),

DUTIES
1. Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
2. Prepare, draft, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
3. Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
4. Review and proofread documents for errors, consistency, and compliance with legal requirements.
5. Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including case preparation, trial, and post-trial procedures.
6. Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
7. Manage deadlines and ensure timely filing of legal documents.
8. Interact with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress.
9. Maintain regular communication with clients, answering inquiries and addressing concerns.
10. Provide exceptional client service and establish strong professional relationships.
11. Perform administrative tasks, including calendar management, scheduling appointments, and travel arrangements for attorneys.
12. Coordinate and assist in the preparation of presentations, seminars, and meetings; and
13. Prepare expense reports and handle billing tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience working as a paralegal in a law firm or legal department, or, alternatively, a paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies is preferred, but not mandatory,
2. Proficient knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation,
3. Strong understanding of Personal Injury law
4. Exceptional research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex legal information,
5. Proficient in using legal research databases and other relevant software tools,
6. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively,
7. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work,
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
9. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, and
10. Familiarity with e-discovery tools and experience in managing large volumes of documents is a plus.
