Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities in a home care setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties:
- Assist residents with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
- Provide direct support and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Lift and transfer residents as needed, using proper techniques and equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents
- Administer first aid and basic medical care when necessary
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as required
- Document and report any changes in residents' condition or behavior

Requirements:
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Knowledge of resident rights and person-centered care principles
- First aid certification is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
