Responsibilities: - Provide Personal Care assistance to individuals in need, including but not limited to: - Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Assisting with mobility and transferring - Administering medication as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitoring and recording vital signs - Assisting with meal preparation and feeding - Providing companionship and emotional support Skills: - Lift: Ability to lift and transfer individuals safely and with proper body mechanics - Assisted living: Knowledge and experience working in an assisted living facility or similar environment - Patient care: Understanding of basic patient care principles and practices - Drive: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for transportation of clients as needed - Social work: Knowledge of social work principles and ability to provide emotional support to individuals in need - Nurse: Experience or certification as a nurse or nursing assistant is a plus - Dementia care: Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies - Childcare: Experience working with children in a caregiving capacity - Care: Compassionate and caring nature, with a strong desire to help others - Behavior management: Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors in a calm and professional manner Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and skills. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.12 - $17.12 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
