Summary:
Personal Bankers provide exceptional client service promptly and efficiently processing client transactions and promote positive public relations. Contributes to the attainment of bank office sales goals and related objectives by promoting the bank's products and services and by generating leads and referrals. The Personal Banker plays a key role in providing retail banking services and products to clients. The Personal Banker is the prime position to develop new business opportunities with current and potential clients.
Personal Banker 1 Client Service:
- Represents the bank to the client in a courteous, professional manner writing prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing transactions.
- Identify the unmet needs of current and potential clients and offer appropriate products and services.
- Promote and provide information to clients on new and enhanced products to improve client relations.
Transactional Activity:
- Process clients' deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, loan and cash advances, Cashier's checks, wire transfers and examines checks for endorsement and negotiability.
- Assist clients with access to safe deposit boxes, address changes & travel notifications.
- Responsible for balancing each day's transactions and verifying cash totals for his/her station. Reviews work to locate any differences and ensure that all differences are properly initialed and reported to the Personal Banker Supervisor
- Adheres and complies wfth all Bank policies and procedures, in addition to Federal and State regulations
Float Position:
- This position will be required to travel to surrounding branches when needed.
