Position: Live-out Personal Assistant

Location:Primary residence in NYC

Schedule: Monday - Friday some Saturdays on average 30 hours a week.

Salary: $40/hr. on average 30 hours a week.

Overview

Seeking to hire a full-time, live-out Personal Assistant to support a young woman going back to college. Responsibilities include scheduling across a wide array of daily activities; college classes, clothing preparations, personal correspondence; and general oversight of home technology and maintenance. This position requires a unique blend of professional administrative and personal skills, including absolute discretion, continuous ability to multi-task, attention to detail, top-level organization skills, diplomacy, and tact. The ideal candidate is bright, friendly, cheerful, organized with a can do attitude, and skilled at helping others navigate their anxieties.

Responsibilities:

Calendar/scheduling management and technology help

Maintain inventory of clients clothing, oversee laundry, and purchase clothes as needed.

Organization of closet(s), including sending out and receiving dry cleaning

Manage all personal items (medications, toiletries, etc.)

As a companion help make sure she is keeping to her schedule and escort her to activities.

Shopping both online and in stores as well as errand running.

A good understanding of how things work in a home is desired

Check-in and liaise with family on a constant basis.

Requirements:

Technically savvy and proactive

Discretion and confidentiality at all times

Compassion and wisdom in dealing with clients anxieties.

Strong command of the English language

Excellent references from past/present employers

College graduate
