U.S. Salary Range:
$124,000.00 - $170,500.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.

Responsibilities:
Enhance and execute Performance Management Processes: Diagnose, enhance, and execute effective and efficient Performance Management frameworks, policies, and procedures that align with Applied Materials' long-term goals and are anchored in data. Key focus areas include:
- Goal setting: Lead the annual goal setting process for employees ensuring individual goals are tied to the company's strategic priorities, they're clear, specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time bound.
- Performance Appraisal and feedback: Create and implement a comprehensive performance appraisal system that includes regular feedback mechanisms, performance evaluations, and individual development plans aimed at elevating individual performance.
- Training and support: Leveraging data analytics, identify training and development opportunities based performance assessments and work with key stakeholders to design and deliver appropriate training programs to enhance employee performance.
- Performance improvement plans: Working closely with key stakeholders, refine and enhance performance improvement leveraged by managers when employee performance challenges surface. Provide guidance and digital tools to be leveraged by managers and employees to address performance gaps and achieve desired outcomes.
- Data analysis and reporting: Collect and analyze performance data into actionable insights to be leveraged by key stakeholders which highlights program effectiveness, company trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance organizational performance.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to Performance Management Processes and documentation.
- Culture: Collaborate with key stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous feedback, recognition, and engagement, contributing to cultural health, employee satisfaction, and retention.
- Stay updated on industry best practices: Monitor industry trends and advancements in Performance Management Processes, incorporating innovative approaches to enhancing the effectiveness of our Performance Management systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree. Master's degree a plus.
- Business background/experience a plus. Engineering background/experience a plus.
- Proven experience in Performance Management, talent management, or a related HR function.
- Strong project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of Performance Management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with HR systems and Performance Management software/tools. Experience building digital infrastructure solutions in-house (not off the shelf).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach. Experience applying statistical analytics within a company setting (beyond academia).
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proactive and self-motivated, ability to work autonomously (with minimal guidance) while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to Performance Management.
