We have an immediate long-term contract opportunity with one of our key clients for a position of Performance Engineer to work in Austin, Texas

Responsibilities:

• Develop Java-based products with a focus on quality assurance testing and performance optimization.
• Utilize common QA tools such as Postman, curl, etc., for efficient testing processes.
• Work within a Linux environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of Linux internals and utilities.
• Basic experience with Macbook usage is desirable.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Java coding with experience in product development, QA testing, or performance testing.
• Experience in Java-based performance driver development is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Linux environment and internals.
• Basic experience with Macbook usage.
• Real-world experience in Java/Linux-based application Performance Engineering, including but not limited to driver development, load test execution, performance issue troubleshooting and resolution, and performance tuning and optimization.
• Result-oriented mindset with strong motivation towards daily deliverables.
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities to meet deliverable requirements.
• Self-driven learner with a passion for acquiring new skills required for assignments.
