E8 Engineering is working with a high profile and prestigious military and commercial aerospace company to hire a Supplier Quality Performance Engineer (SQPE) to provide on-site inspections at several locations around the El Paso, Texas area. This is a long-term, part-time contract position. Base compensation is commensurate with experience.
Job Description:
To perform source inspections, process verification, manufacturing and quality systems surveillance, and conduct quality systems audits and/or assessments as directed by our customer purchase contracts and sub-contracts to suppliers and their sub-tier suppliers; in accordance with customer policy and procedures.
Source Inspection: Mechanical, electrical, electronic, structural, machined parts, tooling, digital data, processes, functional test, non-destructive inspection, non-destructive testing, both in-process and final product.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- 10 + years of prior aerospace Supplier Quality experience
- Microsoft Office savvy
- Lean, Six Sigma, knowledge a plus
- ASQ, IPC, NADCAP certifications a plus
- Pleasant and confident demeanor when dealing with colleagues and clients
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English
