About the Role
This opportunity is a remote six month contract with the ability to be extended an additional six months based on performance and business need. As Glassdoor's People Support Specialist, you are a stewart for Glassdoor's company and employee data. This role is responsible for maintaining and auditing company and employee data in Workday, ensuring all corresponding procedure and intranet documents are accurate and up-to-date, and providing Glassdoor's employee population timely and thorough responses to general employee inquiries.
As part of the People Operations team, this role requires the ability to be a self-motivated team player with the ability to analyze processes, provide internal customer service and execute on updates on day to day running of tasks. This individual must be someone who is committed to helping further the culture of the team and company, and is willing to roll up their sleeves and be hands on.
What You'll Do:
Employee Ticket Resolution (Zendesk):
- Proactively, positively, and accurately answer employees HR questions within outlined SLAs by leading resolution of the people team ticketing system
- Collaborate and coordinate with HR partners such as Benefits, Payroll, Compensation To resolve tickets
- Interpret and implement HR policies, practices and procedures for managers, teams and individual employees that further the mission, values and strategic vision of the business
- Exemplify basic data analysis skills to report and interpret ticketing trends and SLA resolution time trends for all employee ticket
- Build and make suggestions for new reporting categories for employee inquiry tickets based on reported ticket trends
Provide Level 1 HRIS Support (Workday): Support People Operations processes, including but not limited to hires, relocations, promotions, terminations, org management, etc. in Workday
- Constantly review and find enhancements to system execution.Work cross-functionally to design and implement enhancements.
- Ability to comprehend and apply understanding of Glassdoor's data security rules and applicable government regulations.
- Own and ensure the quality and accuracy of all employee data managed within Workday system by being able to conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity; when necessary,
- Ability to coordinate with other team members and stakeholders to resolve data concerns, questions and issues
HR Coordination, Processes Improvement & Documentation:
- First point of contact for People Operations process inquiries. Responsible for drafting and updating process documentation.
- Maintain employee self service material with up to date documentation based on current processes, policies and guides
- Compile and maintain employee records including new hire, terminations, personnel changes, and promotions to ensure appropriate documentation is completed and filled in employee personnel files.
- Assist with Form I-9 and E-Verify compliance for all new hires
- Assist with Glassdoor's Immigration program and all associated paperwork and processing for US-based visa types
- Maintain, audit, and review all HR-related documents on company Wiki page (intranet) to ensure documents are accurate, timely, and relevant
- Performs other HR duties and compliance projects to support the People Business Advisor team
