Pediatric Occupational Therapist - Part-Time

Breakthrough Pediatric Therapy is hiring! We have openings for a part-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist with pediatric experience in our Cary, NC pediatric outpatient clinic.

We are currently looking for an energetic pediatric OT to join our team of pediatric PTs and OTs. Treatments will take place in our clinic as well as off site at patient's homes, daycares and ABA Center. Our current needs are for 1-2 mornings a week and 1-2 evenings a week.

 

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40 per visit 

Compensation will be base on experience. Responsibilities

Essential Functions for Occupational Therapist Position:

*Creates a fun therapeutic environment to allow our young patients to achieve the maximum potential

Plans, organizes, and conducts occupational therapy program in the clinic to facilitate development and rehabilitation of mentally, physically, or emotionally disabled persons by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned)

Reviews Physician's referral (prescription) and patient's condition and medical records to determine occupational therapy treatment required.

Tests and measures patient's strength, motor development and records findings to develop or revise treatment programs.

Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills for Pediatric Occupational Therapist Position:

• Current North Carolina OT License
• Minimum 1-2 years pediatric experience but will consider new grad with strong outpatient pediatric fieldwork experience with referral from CI (Course Instructor)
• Team player with enthusiasm for growth of our OT program and teaching children.
