Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

### Job Overview:

We are a busy pediatric practice in Holly Springs, NC and we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive healthcare services to children from infancy through adolescence. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to our young patients. . This is currently a part time position, 3 days a week and every 3rd Saturday. There will be an opportunity to work more in the near future. The applicant must be able to cover (with advance notice) on days when one of the three full time providers is out.

### Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough physical examinations of pediatric patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in children
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments as needed
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on various health topics
- Perform developmental assessments and screenings
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Provide health coaching and guidance to promote healthy lifestyles

### Qualifications:

- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of NC
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Pediatrics
- Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
- Strong knowledge of pediatric healthcare practices, procedures, and protocols
- Proficient in medical documentation in EMR systems and ICD-10 coding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $75,980.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 26 – 30 per week
