Job Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):

• Administer nursing care in a mental care + nursing home environment, and ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
• Document care provided and report changes in resident status to shift supervisor
• Interpret lung and Heart Sounds
• Care of patients with CVA or Head Injuries, Dementia, Oxygen, Pacemaker, Foleys, Peg Tube, and mental disabilities
• Delivers compassionate nursing care while achieving resident/family satisfaction and positive clinical outcomes.
• Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Aid physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed.

Requirements:

• Experience is required
• Valid PCA Certification or CNA License
• Eligible to work in the United States
• CPR certification
• Comfortable working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of an organization
• Ability to patiently encourage patients to do tasks, assist in tasks, and then do tasks if needed
• Travel up to +/- 50 miles each way daily with your own transportation
