Payroll/Benefits Administrator

We are seeking a Payroll/Benefits Administratorwith 3+ years’ experience to assist clients with processing payrolls using a variety of different programs and various Employee Benefits Programs. Minimum of AA degree in accounting or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Automate/synchronize Benefits and Payroll platforms
• Process client weekly, bi-weekly, monthly Payrolls, payroll tax payments, quarterly/annual reports
• Assist with clients Benefit Plans; 401(k), 1095-C, fringe benefits, etc.
• High Level Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel & email
• General bookkeeping projects tasks as assigned
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter, proactive, attentive to details, ability to plan, prioritize and organize workload
• Answer client questions about payroll and Benefits plans
• Take on additional challenges and projects as assigned
• Maintain reporting systems

Job Qualifications

• Payroll Experience
• Experience in Employee Benefits administration
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to payroll and benefits is essential
• AR/AP Bookkeeping experience a plus
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
• Work effectively as a team
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail

Education and Experience

• 3+ Years Payroll Processing a must
• 3+ Years of Benefits Programs Administration a must
• High level expertise with Excel
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop, QBO and/or ADP Payroll systems, a plus

This is an in-house, full-time, permanent position. Mon-Fri 8:30-5pm, with some preset flexibility for a consistent schedule. Background check, drug testing and fingerprinting required before start of employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
