We are seeking a Payroll/Benefits Administratorwith 3+ years’ experience to assist clients with processing payrolls using a variety of different programs and various Employee Benefits Programs. Minimum of AA degree in accounting or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Automate/synchronize Benefits and Payroll platforms
- Process client weekly, bi-weekly, monthly Payrolls, payroll tax payments, quarterly/annual reports
- Assist with clients Benefit Plans; 401(k), 1095-C, fringe benefits, etc.
- High Level Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel & email
- General bookkeeping projects tasks as assigned
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter, proactive, attentive to details, ability to plan, prioritize and organize workload
- Answer client questions about payroll and Benefits plans
- Take on additional challenges and projects as assigned
- Maintain reporting systems
Job Qualifications
- Payroll Experience
- Experience in Employee Benefits administration
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to payroll and benefits is essential
- AR/AP Bookkeeping experience a plus
- Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
- Work effectively as a team
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
Education and Experience
- 3+ Years Payroll Processing a must
- 3+ Years of Benefits Programs Administration a must
- High level expertise with Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop, QBO and/or ADP Payroll systems, a plus
This is an in-house, full-time, permanent position. Mon-Fri 8:30-5pm, with some preset flexibility for a consistent schedule. Background check, drug testing and fingerprinting required before start of employment.
