Payroll Tax Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis and reconciliation of Payroll Tax data, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Prepare and submit federal, state, and local Payroll Tax returns in adherence to regulatory deadlines
• Remain current with evolving Payroll Tax laws and regulations, implementing necessary changes to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to address Payroll Tax discrepancies and inquiries
• Support the resolution of Payroll Tax-related audits and inquiries from tax authorities
• Generate insightful reports and analyses on Payroll Tax metrics as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Payroll Tax analysis or similar role
• Profound understanding of Payroll Tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in Payroll Tax software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Payroll Professional (CPP) certification, a plus
• Prior experience in the healthcare sector, a plus
• Familiarity with payroll processing systems such as ADP or Workday, a plus
