GlowTouch is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. This onsite role demands a high level of precision and confidentiality, as well as a commitment to maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring timely payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities:- Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll for all employees on a bi-weekly or semi-monthly basis. This includes calculating wages, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory agencies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and employee files, including timesheets, leave balances, and benefit information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the HR and finance departments to align payroll processing with overall company policies and objectives.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any payroll-related queries or issues from employees in a timely and professional manner.
- System Management: Manage the payroll system, ensuring it is up-to-date and reflects recent changes in payroll laws.
- Training and Development: Stay informed of current trends and developments in payroll processing and technology through professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of multi-state payroll processing experience.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
