Job Summary:
Beauregard Equipment located in Scarborough, ME, is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of our payroll process and ensuring accurate and timely compensation for our employees. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a focus on providing exceptional service to our employees and maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
-Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
-Manage and maintain accurate employee information in payroll system
-Review and verify employee timecards, requesting any necessary corrections or approvals
-Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
-Prepare and submit payroll reports as required
-Assist with year-end processes including W2 distribution
-Stay informed and up to date with all changes to payroll laws and regulations
-Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding any payroll-related questions or concerns
-Assist with various HR tasks and projects as needed
Requirements:
-Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll administration
-Strong understanding of state and federal payroll laws and regulations
-Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
-Exceptional organizational and communication skills
-Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
-Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
