Responsibilities:
- Process biweekly payroll to include calculating payroll timesheets, imputing payroll information, verifying payroll changes
- Verify payroll, transmit and create funding documentation and execute electronic files for GL & 401k data uploads.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting for management. Include but not limited to: Payroll reports - 401k matching, payroll accrual, labor hours, and payroll status.
- Enter report information into SAP financial software.
- Send vouchers & funding information to Treasury Dept.
- Year-end reporting of payroll earnings and deduction totals.
- Prepares special reports and analyses, participates in projects, and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in time and attendance rules and procedures, garnishments, payroll taxes, and multistate payroll processing
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) HIGHLY preferred.
- Current or recent experience processing payroll utilizing ADP, UKG or similar payroll software system
- General office skills and accounting experience of minimum 3+ years
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office 365 products and effective communication skills
- SAP S/4 Hanna experience preferred but not required.
