Responsibilities:
- Serve as a working Payroll Manager, with hands-on responsibilities as well as people management of 1-2 payroll professionals
- Oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing for North America: United States and Canada
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including proper calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions
- Maintain and update employee payroll records in HRIS system
- Reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
- Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data and benefits administration
- Prepare journal entries related to payroll transactions
- Assist with general ledger reconciliation related to payroll accounts
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws
- Proficiency in HRIS systems for managing employee data and payroll processing
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation, ensuring accuracy of payroll-related accounts
- Familiarity with benefits administration, including deductions and contributions
- Ability to prepare journal entries related to payroll transactions
- Knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll, including withholding and reporting requirements
- Experience in accounts receivable management, ensuring accurate recording of payments received
- Payroll software experience: ADP WFN, Peoplesoft or Workday required

Pay: $100,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
