D J Properties LLC is seeking an HR Manager to join our team! This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, employee relations, payroll processing, performance management, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- Plans and directs implementation and administration of employee benefit programs such as health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, workers compensation, employee assistance, IRA Bonus program, and other plans.
- Prepares and communicates information to employees and former employees about benefit programs, procedures, changes, and government-mandated disclosures.
- Analyzes and evaluates services, coverage, and options available through insurance and investment companies to determine programs best meeting needs of organization.
- Provides services to employees to answer their benefit questions, resolve problems related to access to or payment of benefits, orient newly eligible employees, and process enrollment forms, changes, and loan requests.
- Reviews, or directs review of, personnel records to determine names, rates of pay, and occupations of newly hired workers, and changes in wage rates and occupations of employees on payroll.
- Records, or directs recording of, new or changed pay rates in payroll register or computer files.
- Processes bi-weekly payroll with the help of the HR/Accounting Assistant
- Reviews and approves payroll deductions.
- Reviews payroll to ensure accuracy
- Adjusts errors and responds to complaints
- Schedules & pays payroll taxes every other week
- Prepares and submits government-mandated reports including quarterly/annual tax filings & payments, annual ACA report processing & submission and annual W-2 processing and submission
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience required

Pay: $62,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
