We are looking to add an experienced Payroll Manager who has multi-state, union and merit experience and has worked with Paycom previously.
Reporting to the Vice President, Financial Operations, the Payroll Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of our multi-state payroll processes for 1,200+ union and merit employees. This role will manage a team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our payroll processes, implementing best payroll practices, and adhering to federal, state, and local legal requirements.
QualificationsSuccessful candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree, CPP certified and 10-15 years’ proven experience in payroll, preferably with 4+ years in a management capacity in the elevator or construction industry. You must possess a strong understanding of payroll regulations, federal, state, and local tax laws, and compliance requirements, be proficient in the use of payroll software, systems, and Excel. You should also be an excellent communicator with both written and verbal, to interact with internal teams and external customers effectively and be strong analytical. Prior experience using Paycom is highly desirable as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
