The Payroll Clerk assists the professional staff in ensuring that individual employee time for Washington Health System and affiliates is reported, transmitted, and processed accurately for the preparation of payroll checks and direct deposits.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing pay, including, reviewing, verifying and importing individual employee time, maintaining earnings and deductions for each employee and reconciliation, filing and payment of all taxes. This position will adhere to established standards, policies, and procedures of Washington Health System.
- Accurately reports information to members of the Finance Department team and other members of Washington Health System in order that they may intervene to provide adequate and appropriate changes in process or procedure.
- Completes and demonstrates competency in all technical skills and procedures as delegated according to established Washington Health System Core Payroll Clerk Skills & Responsibilities.

Experience
Required- Basic Knowledge of Excel.
- 2 year(s): Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience, including preparation of payroll tax returns.
- Experience with UKG Pro (formerly UltiPro).
Education
Required- High School/GED or better
- Technical/other training or better in Accounting or related field
