Description

Location: Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and in-office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. This includes remote work and 1-2 days in office per week at our Indianapolis location.

The Payroll Analyst Sris responsible for processing and responding to associate and management inquiries regarding human resources/payroll transactions. Competent to process and research a wide variety of transaction types and is typically cross-trained in a full array of processes and transaction types.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Responds to inquiries regarding payroll issues, practices and policies and interprets same for associates and management.
  • Processes transactions for new hires, terminations, or active associates.
  • Researches transaction and complex payroll issues, using a variety of databases and software.
  • Responsible for maintaining payroll systems, including time and labor.
  • Prepares a variety of reports relative to payroll and HR transactions.
  • Responsible for vendor management on all inbound integrations and files that impact payroll processing.
  • Interacts as a representative for Payroll with technical partners to assist with enhancements and issues in processing. Performs queries of the system as needed.
  • Assists other associates in more complex issues.

Minimum Requirements

  • Requires a HS diploma, 4-5 years transaction experience, including previous experience in payroll administration; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Minimum 2 years of proficient Excel experience.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences

  • Strongly preferred BA/BS and experience with Workday.
  • Time keeping experience.
