Payroll Administrator (Onsite)

MPS Group, Inc. has an opening for a Payroll Administrator in Louisville, KY.

Payroll Administrator

Responsible for administration of in-house payroll services for multi-state organization. This position maintains expert level knowledge of payroll and accounting systems software. (Spanish Speaking Preferred)

Typical Duties Include:

• Ensures the integrity of data used in weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles
• Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
• Coordination with IT, HR, Finance to align workflow for efficient processing of payroll
• Implement excellence in customer service with strong personal interactions and consistent communications
• Works with the payroll manager to develop and perform data audits and reporting to ensure data integrity and compliance with federal, state and corporate policy compliance.
• Displays integrity and discretion in all aspects of their position.
• Serves as a backup to the payroll manager to maintain department continuity.
• Maintain paid time off programs; union dues submissions, arrears tracking
• Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum payroll experience including in-house program
• Mandatory working knowledge of wage and hours laws, in-house payroll
• Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, proficiency in Excel
• Experience with multiple union dues structures a plus
• Must have 2 plus years Experience utilizing Microsoft Dynamics (GP)
• Must have 2 plus years Experience utilizing Sierra
• Must have experience with in-house payroll methods

This position reports directly to the payroll supervisor.
