Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $26 to $40 per hour.
Job Description:
- Review personnel records to determine names, rates of pay, and occupations of newly hired workers
- Review changes in wage rates and occupations of employees on payroll
- Record new or changed pay rates in payroll register or computer files
- Direct compilation and preparation of other payroll data
- Review and approve payroll deductions
- Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow
- Serve as back-up for other accounting duties
- Support the preparation of year-end audit files and analysis
Requirements:
- Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100, Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/Kaizen
- Knowledge of specific software (design, analysis, ERP…)
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail, deadline and goal-oriented
- Strong work ethic
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 – 10 years' relevant experience
