- The Information Technology team works 2 days in the office (Tuesday and Thursday), and 3 days remote (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).
Summary
TechConnect is seeking a Junior – Mid-level System Administrator for an industry leading organization that is located in Tulsa, OK. Our client is looking for an individual with a proven track record in systems and network administration to be part of a knowledge sharing collaborative team.
In this role you will be responsible for day-to-day technical support and project work. You will handle level II support tickets when the level I team is unable to resolve mid-level to advanced technical support issues. You will be a part of internal and corporate projects that include systems, multiple location network connectivity, network enhancement, cybersecurity, etc. You will work with multiple vendors on such things as SDWan, remote coordination and must be able to build strong partnerships. You will proactively look for technical issues and/or problems and address them before they arise. You will handle basic administration duties, work with network printers, provide project documentation and interact with team members onsite and remotely to gather information and fix technical issues. You will support a fairly standard enterprise Microsoft environment that includes Azure, ConnectWise, remote desktop and Microsoft Edge.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in information technology, systems administration and/or network administration.
- Preferred – Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field.
- Ability to diagnose and remedy performance issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal team members and users.
- Excitement for delivering exceptional support and service.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to think outside of the box.
- Desire for continual growth as a technologist.
- Must be able to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.

Travel
- Occasional: 1-2 trips annually to Canada to meet with users. 1-2 trips annually to Texas.
