Job Summary

Coordinates and monitors the movement of patients, non-patients and room turnover activities throughout Hartford Healthcare through timely, accurate dispatch and management of EPIC requests. The Dispatch role is a vital role that impacts patient care. Ensures positive patient and customer satisfaction, adherence to facility specific standard work procedures, and expectations established by Patient Transport and Environmental Services leadership. Acts as a positive role model and team player demonstrating HHC mission and values. Must be sensitive and attentive to all hospital staff, transporters and environmental services staff needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Experience: 3+ months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Licensure, Certification, Registration: None
