Our Client in Greenwich, CT is seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Patient Support Specialist to work for their Health Center. Our client is open to candidates available on a temporary to permanent basis. Seeking someone with clinical/administrative experience and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients with professionalism and courtesy.
- Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and maintain an organized appointment calendar.
- Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and other confidential documentation.
- Facilitate patient check-in and check-out process efficiently.
- Provide accurate information to patients regarding services, policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with medical/dental staff to coordinate patient care and address inquiries.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree or Business Institute Certificate
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Excefllent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft office software
- Must be able to communicate fully in English and Spanish
Preferred:
- At least two years prior administrative/call center/customer service experience
- Experience with administration of electronic medical records (EMR) - EPIC
- Exposure/experience with medical terminology and medical billing practices
- Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations
